Procurri opens
new German office
roccuri has announced the
opening of its new global office
in Germany. The announcement
follows the continued success and growth
of the business, with the Germany office
the company’s 19th globally.

Europe, said: “As businesses become
increasingly global, there is a need for
partners who can provide a localised service
in each geography around the world.
“Our new office in Germany allows us to
increase our footprint in Europe and is an
important step for us as we strengthen
our leadership in the EMEA region.”

Vertiv survey sees Edge
sites tripling by 2025
ertiv has released an
update to its industry-
wide examination of the
data centre future, Data Center
2025: Closer to the Edge, which
reveals fundamental shifts in the
industry that barely registered in the
forecasts from five years ago. sites they support to grow by at least
100%, with 20% expecting a 400% or
more increase.
The migration to the edge is
changing the way industry leaders
think about the data centre as they
grapple with a broad data centre
ecosystem comprised of many types
of facilities and relying increasingly
on the edge of the network. During the original 2014 research, the
Edge was acknowledged as a growing
trend but the industry’s attention
at that point was focused on hybrid
architectures leveraging enterprise,
cloud and colocation resources.
