T he DCA’s membership base is varied and includes providers of products and services to the sector, data centre owners and operators, consultants and training organisations. The DCA exists to support all its members and to raise both their profiles and the profile of the industry. Highlights for Corporate Partners in 2019 TechBuyer is a global leader in the buying, refurbishing and selling of data centre equipment. Not only selling new IT parts, the company buys used parts such as servers, memory and storage and turns them into low-cost, quality refurbished IT equipment. Techbuyer has been dynamic on many fronts related to the data centre sector and remains a very proactive member of the DCA. Mick Payne, MD, highlights a two-year Knowledge Transfer Project in Partnership with UEL, presentations at DCW Frankfurt, panel sessions at Data Centre Transformation and DCD London, the launch of a technical facility in France and a listing in the Sunday Times Fast Track 200.
