Solutions by
introducing
Google Cloud
Interconnect

has expanded its cloud connect solutions
portfolio with the introduction of Google
Cloud Interconnect.

The development strengthens Batelco’s
cloud services which also includes AWS
Direct Connect and Microsoft Express
Route and boosts the company’s global
connectivity solutions by offering a secure,
reliable and resilient network.
Among the benefits of the cloud solutions
are reduced network costs, increased
bandwidth throughput and a more
consistent network experience than
Internet-based connections, enabling
Batelco’s customers to enjoy a consistent
and best in class performance.
Google Cloud Interconnect is a dedicated
interconnect and provides users with
direct physical connections between
their on-premises network and Google’s
network, allowing the transfer of large
amounts of data.

solutions at Intersec 2020

leading security trade shows, hosted
at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Lenovo DCG demonstrated the
computing capabilities of the
recently launched first purpose-
built edge server, the ThinkSystem
SE350. Designed to operate outside
data centres and in locations close
to where data is generated, the
ThinkSystem SE350, which will be
powered by Pivot3 HCI software,
will address issues surrounding
security, latency, bandwidth and
downtime with regards to Smart
City applications.
In line with Lenovo’s strategy to
empower and facilitate ‘Intelligent
Transformation’, the participation
reflects the company’s evolving
partnership with Pivot3, a leading
provider of intelligent infrastructure
solutions, to develop, market and
sell a new set of converged
computing and storage solutions
