END USER INSIGHT As people across the world come together to try and help fight the novel Coronavirus, Andrew Stevens, CNet CEO, is an example of how we can all do our bit. Stevens’ mission to raise money for the NHS in his ‘Be Bald For The #NHS’ move, has seen him exceed his target as a result of generous contributions via his JustGiving page. The reason behind the challenge was to support and thank the NHS staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients. Andrew Stevens, CNet CEO, tells Intelligent Data Centres more about the remote attendance program and the vendor’s plans to continue after the pandemic. Net Training is celebrating C designing and delivering exceptional digital infrastructure technical education programs for the past 24 years. CNet has come a long way and has grown significantly over the years. Expert Instructors are located in many different countries and deliver technical education programs across the world. Since 2017, CNet Training has delivered programs via live instructor-led remote attendance classes and it has proved to be very popular. CNet’s remote attendance capability is different from others, it really does share the same classroom experience live with learners wherever they are in the world. CNet’s CEO, Andrew Stevens, discusses CNet’s remote attendance capability in more depth. How much remote working was CNet doing before COVID-19? CNet is fortunate that we invested in Remote Attendance capability three years ago and since then have been able to offer the majority of our programs as live instructor-led classes via ‘Remote Attendance’ (currently 42% of our learners are remote attendees). We anticipated that this move to more remote-based learning would be driven by the demand and need to operate in a more sustainable and environmentally sensitive way. However, we obviously did not anticipate COVID-19 which has seen unprecedented demand for everything we do to be able to be accessed from our homes or offices across the globe. www.intelligentdatacentres.com Issue 15 47
