Rackspace Technology migrated Central and North West
London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL)’s IT services to a
private cloud environment, allowing for 10-times more staff
to provide essential health services remotely ahead of
the COVID-19 pandemic. CNWL is one of the largest NHS
Trusts in the UK, providing integrated healthcare to a
third of London’s population and the south of England.
EUROPE
Equinix, a global interconnection and data centre
company, has announced the development of a new data
centre in Milan, due to open in Q1 2021. Known as ML5,
the International Business Exchange data centre will offer
state-of-the-art colocation, as well as a host of advanced
interconnection services, including Equinix Cloud
Exchange Fabric and Equinix Internet Exchange.
