( MRI DCS ) is using its Dedicated Cloud Access ( DCA ) and Ethernet solutions for its new service ‘ Dibertas ’.
Dibertas is a multi-cloud storage service which aggregates data from various environments , enabling its customers to access and utilise data across multiple cloud services and on-premises environments . Colt ’ s DCA and Ethernet solutions underpin Dibertas ’ features by delivering higher reliability , data security and lower latency when compared to public Internet connections .
Colt DCA is powered by the Colt IQ Network , which connects over 29,000 on net buildings and more than 900 data centres globally ; with over 90 data centres and 2,500 on net buildings in Asia . The Colt IQ Network delivers improved performance , enhanced control , flexibility and scalability , which are critical when accessing core business functions and data .
“ One of the most important advantages of using Dibertas is that our customers can access their data at various locations securely and quickly . We use our own data centre based on the concept of keeping our customers ’ data safe and secure at the specified location ,” said Takashi Gouda , Managing Executive Officer Digital Transformation Unit Head , Mitsubishi Research Institute DCS Co . Sparkle : First provider in Greece to be certified for renewable energy use in its data centres

among the top 10 global operators , has announced that its subsidiary in Greece has been certified for the use of renewable energies at its data centres in Metamorfosis ( Athens ), Koropi and Chania .
The Certificate of Origin – issued by Hellenic Petroleum and Edison ( ELPEDISON ), one of the most environmentally friendly electricity production companies in Greece – attests that from May 2020 , 100 % of the electricity used by Sparkle and by all its colocation customers is obtained from renewable sources with zero carbon emissions .
The Certificate of Origin follows the ISO 14001:2015 , attained by Sparkle Greece in 2018 for its environmental management system , and the former ISO 9001:2015 , 27001:2013 and PCI- DSS certifications , confirming once again the company ’ s commitment to sustainability .
In Greece , Sparkle is a leader in the cloud and data centre market , with a 40 % share in the colocation business and over 100 customers , including service providers , system integrators , institutions , local and multinational companies , in continuous growth . The company is also finalising the construction of its fourth data centre in Greece , Metamorfosis II , whose completion and entry into service of the first module is scheduled for early 2021 and that will provide the country with one of the largest and most advanced ‘ green ’ data centres in Europe .
In the last two years , the company has been investing in environmental sustainability in all its data centres – also including the two in Italy and the one in Turkey – through several energy-related interventions aimed at improving efficiency , reliability and security .
