NEWS Cisco expands DevNet Express into Lebanon to help businesses grow uilding on the success of previous events around the world, Cisco’s DevNet Express has been expanded into Lebanon. DevNet Express is Cisco’s two-day event which aims to teach network engineers and architects how to manage their networks using enterprise network programmability tools and APIs (application program interfaces). B The goal of DevNet is to create a community of infrastructure and application developers and give them hands-on experience and insights via pre- packaged tutorials, instructor-led teaching by highly qualified sales engineers and rewarding through games. DevNet Express uses emerging digital technologies and Cisco DNA (Digital Network Architecture) to help leaders with business transformation, using intent- based networking as a vital component. The programme is open to a large community of customers, partners and engineers, aiming to make Digital Transformation accessible to all. KG. It will enable the company to develop a data centre campus of 60,000 sqm and 90 MVA of data centre capacity with the first phase scheduled to be ready in Q4 2020. e ‘Marienpark Berlin’ is located just south of the city centre and is 14km from the existing e-shelter Berlin 1 data centre which provides 13 MW of capacity. The close linear distance of the sites within the Berlin city region means customers will have the option to operate infrastructure in both Berlin 1 and the new campus in an ‘active- active-configuration’.
