Digital Realty announces availability of AWS capability on PlatformDIGITAL
NEWS igital Realty has announced the deployment of Amazon
D Web Services ( AWS ) Direct Connect 100Gbps capability at the company ’ s Westin building exchange in Seattle
and on its Interxion Dublin campus in Ireland , bringing one of the fastest AWS Direct Connect capabilities to PlatformDIGITAL .
Digital Realty ’ s platform connects 290 centres of data exchange with over 4,000 participants around the world , enabling enterprise customers to scale digital business and interconnect distributed workflows on a first of its kind global data centre platform .

Tanium expands cloud-based endpoint management platform to new countries

T cloud-based endpoint visibility and control solution , Tanium-as- a
-Service ( TaaS ), is now available via local data centres in Canada , the UK , Brazil and Australia to support customers . By delivering TaaS via local data centres , Tanium is able to provide customers in these regions with enhanced TaaS performance , better support for their compliance programmes and highfidelity endpoint data to inform their critical IT decisions . Additionally , TaaS has recently become available on the AWS Marketplace , which makes it the first endpoint management tool to be delivered on the platform . This allows AWS customers of all sizes to access the full range of TaaS capabilities , such as incident response and the remote delivery of fixes or patches to vulnerable devices .
These announcements come as many organisations are stepping up their support for a remote or hybrid workforce which demands the kind of increased business agility that can be provided by cloud-delivered , as-a-Service solutions .
