Arc extends its network ecosystem with Equinix in Oman

Business Exchange ( IBX ) data centre in Muscat . The expansion enables Arc to extend its flexible Network-as-a-Service solutions to a wider pool of local and global customers .
Arc ’ s presence in Oman is part of its regional expansion efforts to give its customers scalable solutions for growing across the Middle East . Oman has established itself as a significant communications hub in the Middle East , evident in the recently announced 2Africa submarine cable and the 9,800km Oman Australia Cable . Its deployment in Oman comes on the back of recently established SDN nodes in UAE as well as Bahrain . Customers can rapidly rollout new applications and services across Oman and beyond with a simple and seamless model .
Equinix ’ s Muscat IBX data centre ( MC1 ) and Internet Exchange are strategically located in the heart of the digital ecosystem connecting Asia , Africa and Europe . This confluence of cable systems with carrier-neutral colocation , interconnection and peering has accelerated the growth of digital corridors linked with Oman during the four years 2016 – 2020 .

S service provider headquartered in Singapore , has published its inaugural Environmental , Social and Governance ( ESG ) Report , providing a comprehensive overview of the company ’ s approach , programmes and performance across three key pillars . These include Decarbonisation ; a Safe , Secure and Inclusive Workplace ; and Ethical & Responsible Operations .

STT GDC has also recently participated in the inaugural auction of a portfolio of high-quality carbon credits hosted by Climate Impact Exchange ( CIX ) in Singapore , and successfully secured 25,000 tons of carbon credits that will offset approximately 15 % of the company ’ s emissions in Singapore .
