F ollowing the binding agreement between e & ( formerly known as Etisalat Group ) and G42 to merge their data centre offering late 2021 , Khazna Data Centers is now
operating the 12 new joint data centres network , making it one of the UAE and Middle East ’ s largest data centre providers .
The strategic partnership between G42 and e & makes Khazna a data centre powerhouse effectively delivering services to partners , customers and users alike . The move will also support the creation of a digital ecosystem in the UAE and beyond .

Equinix invests over US $ 86 million to build third data centre in Mumbai

US $ 86 million to build its third International Business Exchange ( IBX ) data centre in Mumbai , to be named MB3 .
This initial investment includes an acquisition of a parcel of land , which provides a total space of nearly four acres , allowing Equinix to continue growing its rich ecosystem on Platform Equinix across India , supporting the country ’ s growing digital economy .
Strategically located in Mumbai ’ s Commercial district ( Chandivali area ), which is regarded as the retail data centre sub-market , MB3 IBX will be adjacent to
Equinix MB2 IBX data centre and 1.5 km away from MB1 IBX data centre .
The first phase of MB3 is scheduled to open in Q2 2024 , providing an initial capacity of more than 1,375 cabinets and more than 4,150 cabinets when fully built out .
