Vertiv opens office and Customer Experience Centre in Kenya

With an increasing demand for high-efficiency critical infrastructure in East Africa , this centre supports Vertiv ’ s efforts in offering digital infrastructure solutions to local customers .
The centre ’ s experts offer first-hand knowledge of the technologies and showcasing of the products gives users a chance to get close to the diverse range of Vertiv ’ s critical infrastructure solutions for applications from the edge of the network to the cloud .
Products at the centre include Vertiv SmartCabinet – a preconfigured , self-contained solution that offers efficiency , economy , interoperability and control ; Vertiv Liebert EXS UPS – optimised and integrated three-phase uninterruptible power supply ( UPS ) solution with high-efficiency power protection ; Vertiv Liebert EXM2 – a highly reliable and efficient UPS designed to provide industry-leading performance and Vertiv Liebert APM Plus – the versatile and modular UPS fit for row and room applications , as well as thermal management products and other IT management solutions . This facility will not only provide presales , sales and product training , but full-service certification courses for Vertiv ’ s authorised service partner network as well .
In addition to the products physically available at the centre , Vertiv offers the experience of its large-scale modular data centres , power and cooling solutions through Virtual Reality . Customers can utilise digital technology to embark on a unique virtual trip to experience Vertiv ’ s solutions capabilities .
Raxio breaks ground for construction of Raxio Abidjan in Côte d ’ Ivoire

T and operator , held a groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of construction of its fifth – and Côte d ’ Ivoire ’ s first – Tier III carrier-neutral colocation data centre , located at the Village of Innovation and Technology ( VITIB ) in Abidjan , Côte d ’ Ivoire .
This facility marks the group ’ s anticipated entry into West Africa as the regional hub for the West African Economic Monetary and Economic Union ( WAEMU ), which includes Benin , Burkina Faso , Côte d ’ Ivoire , Guinea-Bissau , Mali , Niger , Senegal and Togo . Raxio Côte d ’ Ivoire is strategically located to serve this economic block , with regulation allowing storage and movement of data by banks and other financial institutions within the territory .
