Norwegian data centre company , Green Mountain , has entered into an agreement with social media platform , TikTok , to support its increasing data storage needs in Europe . A new 150MW site , The OSL2-Hamar , is being constructed for this purpose . A total of five data centre buildings , each with a capacity of 30MW , is planned at the site , making this Norway ’ s largest data centre campus . The first building is scheduled for completion by November 2023 . TikTok has signed an initial contract for three buildings and 90MW of capacity with an opportunity to extend up to 150MW by 2025 .

4 . BAHRAIN
Vertiv , a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions , has announced that it has formalised a distribution partnership with iPoint , one of Bahrain ’ s largest multi-brand distributors of electronic , computer peripherals and gadgets for individuals and businesses . With this partnership accelerating market presence in Bahrain and the GCC ( Gulf Cooperation Council ) region , Vertiv will enhance iPoint ’ s existing portfolio with its robust power and IT infrastructure solutions for data centres and Edge applications .
