Having previously operated on hyperscale cloud infrastructure , the combination of cost inflation and performance limitations led LinkPool to seek a solution that offered lower latency and expense without sacrificing scalability .

Cirion , a leading digital infrastructure and technology provider , has announced the construction of a new 20MW carrier-neutral data centre facility in Santiago , Chile , named SAN2 . Cirion is backed by Stonepeak , a leading alternative investment firm specialising in infrastructure and assets with more than US $ 57 billion in assets under management and an extensive portfolio of communications and digital infrastructure investments globally . SAN2 is an expansion of the existing Ciron Latin America data centre footprint .
