H5 Data Centers , a national colocation and wholesale data centre provider , has announced the expansion of its Edge data centre located at 100 Taylor Street , Downtown San Antonio . The Tier III expansion of turnkey colocation space will enable up to an additional 340 cabinets and up to 1.5MWs of additional UPS capacity . Five new communications providers have deployed infrastructure at the data centre campus in 2023 alone , fuelling continued growth of the networkrich ecosystem .

Arelion has announced its first Pointof-Presence ( PoP ) in Portugal at the

Equinix LS1 data centre in Lisbon . The new PoP will serve both enterprise and wholesale customers , taking advantage of the new subsea cables and landing points that have made Lisbon a natural interconnect point to the EU , Africa and Latin America , for high-speed connectivity and IP services . With the arrival of new subsea cable systems like Equiano and EllaLink , Lisbon has become a gateway not only for Portuguese end-users , but also for Africa and Latin America .
