GATES OFFERS ADVANCED SOLUTIONS FOR DATA CENTRE COOLING WITH COOLIT SYSTEMS COLLABORATION
Gates , a global manufacturer of innovative , highly engineered power transmission and fluid power solutions , has announced its collaboration and entry into the fast-growing and evolving data centre cooling market with CoolIT Systems .
CoolIT Systems is a world leader in scalable liquid cooling technology for some of the world ' s most demanding computing environments . To meet the surging demand in the AI , High- Performance Computing ( HPC ) and enterprise markets , CoolIT is working with Gates to develop the most efficient and reliable liquid cooling solutions available .
The partnership includes developing advanced solutions and tightens the supply chain between Gates ’ strong North America based operations and CoolIT ' s Calgary , Canada manufacturing hub , to support the expected market growth .
Gates is leveraging its technical expertise in materials science , fluid conveyance and thermal management to offer efficient and reliable solutions for the data centre cooling market . Its solutions include a broad range of highly engineered products that withstand the rigorous demands of HPC environments where reliability and uptime are critical . Furthermore , Gates global manufacturing footprint and capability also provide the capacity to support CoolIT ' s demand requirements in this rapidly growing application space .

Uptime Institute has announced the launch of the Uptime
Institute Data Center Academy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the Tuwaiq Academy and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology .
The academy will train hundreds of individuals each year , supporting the Kingdom ’ s ambition to employ over five thousand new digital talents in commercial data centres within the next six years .
The Uptime Institute Data Center Academy aims to build and strengthen a sustainable ecosystem for the development of knowledge and skills in the digital infrastructure field in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .
The academy will provide candidates with comprehensive training , including formal and on-thejob training , continuous assessment and support , educating them with the skills and expertise needed to start lucrative careers in the thriving digital infrastructure industry , encompassing the data centre and network cabling sectors .
The initiative will contribute to enhancing the job market in the data centre and related ICT sectors , building a robust national talent pool that supports the Saudi Vision 2030 Digital Transformation Agenda .
