AtlasEdge has announced the completion of a key acquisition in

Vienna , marking its entry into the Austrian market . This strategic acquisition establishes AtlasEdge ’ s presence in Vienna , Austria ’ s main connectivity hub and a key gateway for Central and Eastern Europe markets . The city and its surrounding area are home to thriving cloud , digital media and finance hubs , strong demand drivers which have created a rapidly growing addressable market . The acquired site , currently part of the Siemens Campus in Vienna-Floridsdorf , houses an existing data centre , with expansion space to become a 10MW facility .

GERMANY

maincubes has signed a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement ( PPA ) for pure solar power from Stadtwerke Göttingen AG for 34MW peak . This agreement will provide FRA03 with pure solar power and is a testament of maincubes ’ sustainability and future pursuits of renewable energy . As an important role in maincubes ' sustainability strategy , the company chose Stadtwerke Göttingen because of its commitment to reliability and flexibility which aligns with customers ’ sustainability needs . “ This first PPA contract is a milestone that we are proud of ,” said Albrecht Kraas , CTO at maincubes . “ We are setting the framework for future sustainability standards and further optimising an environmentally friendly energy supply for our data centres .”
