We ’ ve served the San Francisco Bay Area since 2006 , and we have seen the needs of digital infrastructure dramatically increase . While we ’ ve seen consolidation of some large data centre operators , that has presented challenges in terms of inventory , but it ’ s also meant a stronger quality of service .
As data centres and the demand for their services proliferate , it ’ s become apparent that infrastructure has not kept up .
As stated earlier , while there is a lot of dark fibre in the Bay Area , there is a lack of available capacity in existing networks from legacy providers . To help this data centre market maintain its status of being one of the most dynamic in the world , it needs more providers that not only create more dark fibre capacity , but that approach its builds in new and innovative ways .
