BLACK BOX ANNOUNCES OPENING OF HYPERSCALE DATA CENTER OF EXCELLENCE IN MINNESOTA

Black Box , a global leader in delivering innovative communication and technology solutions , has announced the grand opening of its state-of-the-art Hyperscale Data Center of Excellence ( DCoE ) in Inver Grove Heights , Minnesota .

With over 30 years in the Minnesota region , the company marks a significant milestone with this new facility , demonstrating its commitment to innovation and excellence in data centre services and the technology industry .
The Hyperscale DCoE is designed to meet the evolving needs of hyperscale data centres , offering a comprehensive suite of services tailored to optimise performance , efficiency and reliability .
Key focus areas of the DCoE include complete custom cable management , hyperscale-specific training , quality assurance , DAS and public safety solutions , Logistics-as-a-Service ( LaaS ), server refresh , fit-outs , AV integration and comprehensive networking support .

Daikin Applied , a leading global commercial and industrial HVAC manufacturer , has announced plans for the construction of a new energy-efficient manufacturing facility in Tijuana , Mexico . In partnership with its subsidiary Alliance Air Products , a San Diego-based leader in custom air-handling equipment design and manufacturing , Daikin Applied is expanding its manufacturing capabilities to support sustainable data centre growth across North America .

The new 460,000 square-foot facility will expand on Daikin Applied and Alliance Air ’ s established presence in Tijuana , Mexico . The facility is being built to manufacture custom HVAC and computer room air handler ( CRAH ) equipment and solutions specifically for data centres .

It is designed for maximum efficiency to meet Daikin Applied ’ s sustainability goals and will support the growth of air handler unit sales in North America .
This expanded facility allows the company to better serve customers in the West and South-West United States and Mexico with a single supplier for end-to-end HVAC solutions .
