RETN , a leading independent global network services provider , and CRATIS , a Croatian ICT solutions provider , have announced the commissioning of a new Point-of-Presence ( PoP ) in Croatia ' s newest data centre , DC North , located in Varaždin .
DC North , situated approximately 100km north of Zagreb , is currently Croatia ’ s only Tier 3 certified facility by Uptime Institute .

WEST AFRICA
The London Internet Exchange ( LINX ) is set to expand its interconnection footprint in Africa with LINX Accra , a new Internet Exchange Point ( IXP ) for Ghana . LINX Accra will be a neutral , multi-site interconnection fabric providing peering services and more for networks to improve performance , keep local traffic local and lower network latency .
Set to go live in early Q1 of 2025 , the new IXP will follow the LINX design of a resilient , interconnected , multi-site fabric to grow with the predicted demand for the region , future-proofing digital services and further enhancing Ghana ’ s connectivity ecosystem . Driven by the presence of six subsea cable systems , Ghana is one of the most internationally connected countries in Africa , witnessing remarkable growth in its digital landscape in recent years .
