Data Center Partners has unveiled plans for a 17MW data center development in Munich , Germany .
SWITZERLAND
The Neuchâtel local government has opened a new data centre in the city of
Neuchâtel , Switzerland .
Situated in Unterschleißheim , just under 15km from the Bavarian capital , the DCMUC1 facility will feature a utility power supply capacity of 30MVA .
According to the company , the site will provide 6,300 sqm ( 67,810 sq ft ) of white space across three floors and is designed to achieve a PUE of 1.2 . The facility will be built to meet Tier III standards .
The first phase of the project , delivering 8MW of capacity , is expected to be completed by mid-2027 . Timelines for subsequent phases have not yet been disclosed . The operator is also in discussions with the local municipality about incorporating a waste heat reuse initiative .
Located on Avenue des Cadolles , this marks the city ’ s second government-operated data centre .
Developed in collaboration with local insurance company Ecap , the project involved a total investment of 22.5 million francs ( US $ 24.6 million ).
The facility covers 3,230 sqm ( 34,767 sq ft ), with 1,250 sqm ( 13,455 sq ft ) allocated to data centre operations , while the remaining space is designated for offices , storage and technical infrastructure .
