DDC SOLUTIONS TO COOL HIGH-DENSITY GPU INFRASTRUCTURE AT DUOS EDGE AI ' S COLUMBUS CAMPUS

DDC Solutions, part of the Daikin Applied group, has announced that Duos Edge AI, a subsidiary of Duos Technologies Group, has selected DDC ' s rack containment units to cool and protect high-density GPU infrastructure at Duos Edge AI ' s Columbus, Georgia, data centre campus.

The agreement reflects a broader shift in where high-density AI infrastructure is being deployed. As GPU workloads move beyond hyperscale campuses into distributed, Edge-based sites, operators are increasingly running dense compute in facilities that weren ' t originally designed around that density – putting new pressure on thermal management in particular, since Edge sites typically have less built-in cooling infrastructure and less room to add it than a traditional data centre. Rack-level containment addresses that gap directly, managing heat and protecting hardware at the source without requiring the facility itself to be rebuilt around it.
DDC ' s S-Series rack containment units provide sealed physical containment at the rack level, using facility-supplied chilled water and power to manage airside thermal load for GPU racks. The units ' NEMA 3R-rated enclosure protects hardware from contamination and unauthorised access, while integrated

rack-level fire suppression detects and contains thermal events before they can propagate to adjacent equipment. The modular design scales up or down with a site ' s footprint and adapts to a range of GPU platforms and densities, without requiring a custom build for each deployment – a fit for the compact, fastturn environments Duos Edge AI operates in. L ight Source Communications( LSC), a leading provider of high-capacity, future-proof dark fibre networks, has announced the signing of a second major hyperscale tenant on its long-haul dark fibre route connecting Tulsa, Oklahoma and St. Louis, Missouri. This milestone underscores the increasing strategic importance of Central US as a critical corridor for the massive data demands of Generative AI and High-Performance Computing( HPC).

The addition of a second hyperscaler validates LSC ' s vision for this critical route, which spans over 500 miles and features eight in-line amplifiers( ILAs) strategically placed to ensure signal integrity for GPU-dense and AI / ML workloads. Designed from the outset with high-capacity fibre counts and a 100 % underground deployment, the network is purpose-built to support the symbiotic relationship between hyperscale clouds and the emerging Edge infrastructure required for real-time AI processing.

LSC LANDS SECOND HYPERSCALE TENANT FOR TULSA-ST. LOUIS DARK FIBRE ROUTE
As Tulsa continues to emerge as a premier data centre hub, this multi-tenant validation fast-tracks the region ' s status, providing the foundational infrastructure necessary to compete with Tier-1 markets. Engineering for the route is substantially complete, with initial construction phases successfully underway. Construction is forecast to be complete in the third quarter of 2027. �
