STL STRENGTHENS PORTFOLIO TO POWER HYPERSCALE DATA CENTRES

STL, a leading connectivity solutions provider for AI-ready digital infrastructure, has strengthened its Neuralis Data Center portfolio with Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunk Assemblies ranging from 48F to 6912F. This is a high-density cabling portfolio purpose-built for hyperscale and enterprise data centres navigating an unprecedented surge in bandwidth demand driven by AI, cloud and high-performance computing workloads.

" Every data centre customer we work with is trying to solve the same equation- more capacity, less time. That ' s exactly what this extension of Neuralis portfolio is built around. Our Pre- Terminated Trunk Assemblies are designed for dense networks, they are pre-tested, ready to connect on arrival and flexible. This is connectivity built for how data centres are actually being constructed today; high density, tight timelines, zero room for error," said Dr Badri Gomatam, CTO, STL.
Hyperscale and data centre operators are under constant pressure to bring capacity online faster, in less physical space and with near-zero tolerance for field-installation error. As fibre counts climb, duct, tray and conduit space becomes the real constraint on how fast a data centre can scale. Operators are shifting decisively towards connectivity that arrives factoryterminated, 100 % tested and ready to install for all connections across the data centre.

STL ' s Pre-Terminated Trunk assemblies combine ultra-high fibre density with a slim cable form factor, so operators can route more capacity through the same pathways, trays and conduits without compromising bend performance or long-term reliability. These offer premium factory-controlled optical performance on a variety of connectors that enable fast, economical installation. V

IRTUS Data Centres( VIRTUS), a data centre developeroperator and part of the STT GDC Group, has announced the successful completion of a £ 2.45 billion financing package. The capital provides a long-term funding framework to support the continued development and expansion of VIRTUS’ data centres across the UK and Europe.
The package, one of the largest data centre bank financings completed in the UK to date, demonstrates strong lender confidence in VIRTUS, its operating platform and long-term growth prospects. The £ 2.45 billion of committed funding includes a £ 1.2 billion green capex facility, available through both term and revolving tranches, providing flexibility to fund expansion and support its growth ambitions.
The financing provides a framework to support the next phase of expansion. This includes the development of the company’ s 78 MW, AI-ready Saunderton campus in Buckinghamshire, future investment in LONDON19 in Slough and ongoing expansion across Europe.
“ This financing marks an important milestone for VIRTUS,” said Adam Eaton, Chief Executive Officer at VIRTUS.“ It reflects the strength and stability of our existing portfolio, our track record
VIRTUS SECURES £ 2.45 BILLION FINANCING PACKAGE TO SUPPORT CONTINUED GROWTH of delivery and the opportunities ahead. The capital flexibility it provides will enable us to continue investing in high-quality data centre infrastructure and support our ongoing growth across the European market.”
The financing is provided by a strong consortium of 13 banks, led by BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, Societe Generale and Standard Chartered Bank, acting as Coordinators, Senior Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners, bringing together a diverse group of relationship lenders and reflecting strong support for VIRTUS ' operating platform, development pipeline and long-term ambitions.
